Definitions
- Cake-tin
- (a) a tin in which cakes are baked;
- (b) a tin in which cakes are stored.
- Pan
- A vessel, of metal or earthenware, for domestic uses, usually broad and shallow, and often open.
- Pot
- A vessel of cylindrical or other rounded form, and rather deep than broad, commonly made of earthenware or metal (less commonly glass), used to hold various substances, liquid or solid, for domestic or other purposes.
- Saucepan
- A vessel of metal, with a handle projecting from the side, and usually with a lid; the utensil most commonly employed for culinary boiling, except for large joints of meat.
